Announcing Typographic Tuesdays
It’s no secret that antique music covers featured some pretty impressive artwork. They had to! Many times pieces without much musical significance sold well solely for their pleasing covers. Today’s design community has embraced the old tradition of hand-drawn typography, drawing inspiration from Victorian and Edwardian print design. Starting today, Castle Ragtime Company will be posting typographic cover art from the ragtime era to Twitter and Instagram every other week with the hashtag #typographictuesday. Why every other week?
